Brian Kelly spoke with reporters after practice on Monday and was asked about Harold Perkins Jr and his new role in LSU's defense.
quote:

"I think it's a familiar role for him," Kelly said. "He has complete knowledge of the linebacker position. He's so much more intentional. He knows the game and nuances of it."

"The pick he got in 7-on-7, he baited Nussmier into it. Just those little things, experiential
plays that he's making."

"And physically, he's been great. Taking care of himself, recovery, etc. He's a beast. He knows this is his year. All of those things have allowed him to be really focused and not distracted by anything."
