Talented four-star tight end Jake Johnson, the younger brother of LSU quarterback Max Johnson, has committed to the Tigers 2022 class.

The 6-5, 210-pound prospect from Bogart, GA (Oconee County) is the No. 1 tight end for the class of 2022, according to 247Sports. He chose LSU over offers from Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, and many other schools.

The Tigers now have 12 verbal commitments for the class of 2022 with the addition of Johnson. Here's his official commitment announcement:

Funny when you read “little” brother of Max Johnson and think he’ll be small. This kid is a beast. Excited for the future. Geaux tigers.

Different for different sites, but 247 rates someone as a 5-star if they project as a future 1st round NFL draft prospect. Doesn't mean that they aren't the best at their position, etc.
