Per LSUSports.net: LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky broke open a tight 5-3 game with eight runs in the seventh inning Sunday as the Wildcats defeated LSU, 13-4, at Kentucky Proud Park.

LSU, which won the first two games of the weekend series, is 20-12 overall and 3-9 in the SEC. Kentucky improved to 20-9 overall and 6-6 in conference play.

LSU returns to action at 6:30 p.m. CT Tuesday when the Tigers play host to Grambling in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field. The game will be streamed on SEC Network +, and it may be heard on affiliates of the LSU Sports Radio Network.

The mistake we made was telling the rest of the world that the SEC was a hyper-competitive conference, instead of just owning that we were taking a slide and made the changes. Now look where we're at, celebrating a 2-1 weekend vs the Basketball School.

I think WE (LSU) did an outstanding job at keeping the SECs baseball prowess a secret. Not just from other Conferences & Programs BUT being able to keep it a secret from Local & National Media outlets for 10-15 years seems almost too good to be true, unknown.........Impressive!!
