Every year after they announce the NCAA bracket sections, ESPN does a live interview with Kentucky head coach John Calipari. This year he thought it was a good idea to prop up jerseys of all his former star players around him during said interview. It didn't look weird at all...

every time a coach is interviewed in that situation, they treat it as free advertising for their program. That's why they're always wearing their college logo gear and, in this case, showing the prior studs that came to UK. Cheesy, perhaps, but it's also smart.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this. It's smart recruiting, just like football HCs do interviews with championship rings on and trophies behind them.
