What yall dont see was even worse. The three plays before the blocked punt were shotgun snap kneel downs, while Thompson still had all their timeouts. Then, 2 pass interference calls on Auburn after the recovered onside kick. Just a real shite show for a high school coach making well over 100K.

Wow. You can definitely pin that one on the punt team. Thought they had the game in the bag and mailed it in. I only count 7 rushers, yet two guys got through that could've made the block. That's what happens kids when you start celebrating before the game's over.

Special teams wins and loses game. Timidly approaching an onside kick will get you beat most of the time.

Horrendous on-side recovery set up....only a couple guys at the 10 yard mark where they are gonna kick it, and that one dude backs away from trying to catch it.

half of the defense was on top of him so it's not just the punter's fault. But still, that's a no-step punt situation. Get the snap and just kick immediately. Doesn't matter if it only goes 20 yards - just get rid of it and put your defense back on the field.
