I used to do this all the time in NBA Jam

Everybody has their “spot” on the court. His is just a long 3 pointe

It sounded like a buzzer right before or as he was shooting and then he sort of points to his ears like he heard something. It was that or he was pointing to his head telling coach he didn’t know what he was thinking.
