Florida High School Baseball Coach Fired For Vulgar Speech After Winning Championship

Kenne Brown, baseball coach at Seminole High School in Florida, was reportedly fired earlier this month after giving his team a vulgar speech after winning a championship. Click the tweet for the video...

The video surfaced earlier this month, right before the start of the season.

Brown self-reported it to the principal, but he ended up terminated as head coach.

Brown later took responsibility for his actions...

“I take full responsibility,” Brown said. “I am not proud of the words that came out of my mouth; words that would make my mother very upset. What can I say? I was excited. I just want everyone to know my words weren’t derogatory; they were celebratory.”

These are HS kids, not 6yos. I know ken brown, he is a very good coach. Seminole is usually a top program. This seems ridiculous. Getting fired for profanity. So much for freedom of speech.

You have to always be cognizant that cameras are watching and recording you in various situations of your day to day life. It's a reality that we all have to adapt to or possibly suffer the consequences of our words or actions.
