Florida QB Anthony Richardson Skipping Bowl Game For The NFL Draft

Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson announced Monday that he will leave school early and enter the NFL draft. Per ESPN:

ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. lists Richardson, a redshirt sophomore, as his fourth-highest-rated quarterback, behind Ohio State's CJ Stroud, Kentucky's Will Levis and Alabama's Bryce Young.

Richardson became a full-time starter this season and battled consistency as a passer, completing 53.8% of passes for 2,549 yards, 17 touchdowns and nine interceptions.

Florida fell to 6-6 after losing two straight games to end the regular season.

no, JaMarcus was an exceptional college QB who could actually throw the ball with accuracy. Richardson is a great athlete, but he's nowhere ready to be an NFL QB.

agreed, and I'm not getting the love for Levis. Yes, he has an NFL QB body, but I didn't see the appeal for him this year. I sure as hell wouldn't spend a high 1st round pick on the guy.
