Florida wrapped up the month of July by landing three commitments on Wednesday.

The Gators began the day with a commitment from 2026 four-star safety Devin Jackson from First Academy in Orlando, Fla.

Four-star defensive back Demetres Samuel Jr. from Palm Bay, Fla. (Heritage) followed Jackson by flipping his commitment from Syracuse to Florida. Samuel is also a 2026 recruit but plans to reclassify to 2025.

Florida wrapped things up with defensive lineman Joseph Mbatchou of Loganville, Ga. (Grayson), giving his verbal pledge to Billy Napier and the Gators.

How does a kid who is at small low level private high school become a 4*? I’m not hating on the kid or saying he doesn’t deserve it but it’s unusual, no?

Wonder what coach they'll be playing for ? Sun Belt Billy might be back in Lafayette before they get to campus.
