I just hope Norvell doesn't take the job. He's an up and comer coach, only 38 years-old with a helluva resume. Coming to a program in disarray in the SEC would only set that resume backwards and more than likely would result in him fading into oblivion as a head coach if things didn't work out at ARKY.

Arky should just consider forgetting about this whole football thingy

Arkansas had multiple chances to hire Gus and crapped on him every time.

Arky should go after Hugh Freeze or Lane Kiffin.

I wouldn’t want Gus if he paid us to coach here. He’s the Phil Mickelson of college football

Please explain this analogy. Phil is a top 10 all time professional golfer

I can't believe they thought a take that stupid was worth putting behind a paywall. ESPN forever shining as the beacon of horrible "sports" journalism.

Joey Freshwater was born in Arkansas. The native son needs to come home.

Leach, Norvell and Fleck is who we should be offering.

Leach is the only one that would take it, because he isn't such a hot commodity any longer.

Remember that Gus grew up in NWA and got his start coaching Shiloh Christian Academy to two state titles. That's his home and he may want to return.

Gus neither grew up in NWA or for his start coaching at Shiloh Christian. His first job coaching was DC at Hughes which is part of West Memphis now then was promoted to be their HC. Also, don't want him. His defense has carried him the last few years and we will never get that level of defensive talent even close to consistently. He would be a lot better than Morris, but wouldn't be nearly as successful as he is at AU...where they want him gone.

Mike Leach needs to be in the SEC. Hopefully Tennessee will get smart.

I hope leach lands in the East. We don’t need him in the west.

They'll swing and miss on their "dream" candidates and settle on Bobby P. Wonder if he wears the neck brace at his introductory presser for old times' sake.

Leach isn’t going to that dumpster fire.

These buyouts are fricking ridiculous which they now owe Morris to go winless in SEC play
