It's not about "hey i'm here with the president". it's about "we are here celebrating another national title and i'm thinking about YOU and how much we need you to help us win more". kids eat that up.

Even if they hate him, they can at least tell their kids and family/friends they've been to the White House and met the President. Most people can't say that in their lifetime.

frick going to the white house. I rather what Coach O is doing. That's calling recruits from Golden Corral. Much more impactful than meeting the president after winning yet another national title.

Recruiting is his life. When he landed in Tuscaloosa after accepting the job, He met the press, got on a plane and flew to Jack Edwards airport to recruit Julio Jones. No time for boosters, finding a house, getting settled in, nope he went straight to Foley Alabama.
