Paul Finebaum Thinks Nick Saban's ‘Time Is Running Out’ To Win Another National Title
© Butch Dill-USA TODAY Sports
While on Get Up! this morning, college football analyst Paul Finebaum revealed that he thinks Alabama head coach Nick Saban is running out of time to win another national championship...
quote:

“Sixty-nine may not sound old in our business or if you’re running for president, but it is old in terms of championship head football coaches,” Finebaum said. “I don’t want this to sound blasphemous but time is running out on Nick Saban. It’s been two years since he won a national championship. That’s a long time. He hasn’t gone that long at Alabama since the early part of his career. I think this is his best team — the season is unknown at this point. However, there are many other programs catching up a little bit. You can no longer make a blanket statement that Nick Saban’s gonna win a bunch of national championships. I think he needs to win one this year or that hourglass is going to become very dangerous for him.”
Finebaum also predicted that the Crimson Tide will win the title this year. Whole interview here...

Mario Cristobal will be Saban's replacement.

That would be a really good hire for them.

I don't believe Nick will win another NC at Bama. I am very thankful he took the gig and gave us so many great years. Roll Tide

I think Saban is going to ride out the Bryce Young era and retire around 73. He'll have his shots.

As the risk of offending Paul Fartbomb, Nick Saban can't win one this year because Alabama will inevitably lose to LSU in Baton Rouge this November. LSU is the best team in the country again in 2020.

Going out on a limb there Paul. There IS a decline in T-Town though, this year could be his last to "assume they'll be there" yearly.

The worst thing ESPN every did was take Alabama Footballs Jerry Springer and bring him to a national audience.

Finescum throws anything on the wall to see if sticks. He plays his base like a fiddle. As for the Nicktator he ran all the good assistants off and now only the rejects exist becuase no coach for him. Another title is not happening!

... we've won NCs with Jacob Coker, McElroy and McCarron. It appears NCs are more easily won with a "bad" QB at Alabama.

DD, the days of Alabama winning w/ mediocre QB play are over. There are too many good teams and good offenses now. That was in the defensive era. We are in the offensive era now.

Yep! Now a days in the modern days of FB, you need a high powered offense and special QB to go along with the super defense!
