Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports
Don't ask Alabama head coach Nick Saban who he's voting for or who his team is supporting in the upcoming election...

You led a BLM march for Blake. Your position is clear. You will pander to whoever you need to to keep the players in Alabama uniforms.

That's the right idea, but didn't Saban lead a team march recently? That's quite political, Nick.

Yes indeed! "Alabama coach Nick Saban has jumped into the U.S. Senate race in his native West Virginia by endorsing Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin, a longtime friend".

I’m shocked, shocked that Mr “I’m not going to be the coach at Alabama” would utter a falsehood. Maybe he endorsed Manchin as a friend rather than on any policy.....but it was still an endorsement meaning he lied again. Either way, he’s gonna say what benefits his ego/success. Think of the ferryman in Josie wales.

This is why I respect O. Saban said he doesn’t get into politics, but he endorsed the guy in WV and he was the one leading the march. Either he’s picked a side or he’s doing whatever it takes to get a recruit and keep players happy. If he picked a side, that’s fine, but don’t hide from it. Coach O on the other hand supported his players rights to protest, but he’s also spoken highly of our president. They may not like where he stands, but at least he’s upfront about his position. I’d rather my coach tell me the truth instead of blowing smoke up my arse just to keep me happy. This def goes along with him treating players like his kids bc my dad never told me stuff at that age just to make me happy. He was very consistent when it came to telling me where he stood as opposed to what I wanted to hear.

Except he endorsed on TV and radio ads in W. VA, Joe Manchin. Just a short while ago, which was fine with me. I like Joe Manchin, my kind of Democrat.

I forget, which guy, who is laughably considered as the conservative standard, legalized abortion in our most populous start. Definitely not Ronny Reagan... right?

By facilitating voter registration after practice he's definitely providing a strong pipeline of votes for the wrong side.

Yes, more voters is a bad thing.
