New Tuskegee head football coach Reginald Ruffin is calling out Alabama head coach Nick Saban over accusations against Jackson State...
quote:

Now Coach Saban just say you[‘re] sorry in public and walk down to your AD’s Office and say 'We need to play all the FCS HBCU in the state of Alabama because we are the only university in the state not playing the Alabama State’s or Alabama A&M’s in our great state.' BTW you not going to leave Tuskegee University out of it because we are going D1 and yes I said it.

Also that conversation with the AD on having the HBCUs play all FBS universities on a rotating basis in this state. Each HBCUs will get a guaranteed payday of $3,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 each year. This is a game changer. Now you are helping in state HBCU universities.

Where is he getting $5 to $8 million? For a visiting team pay day? Seems high.

I see his angle here and I don't blame him. Makes his budget with one game.

@ Oswald31, jnethe1 and upvoters Or supporting your colleagues and fellow American institutions of higher learner to better America as a whole. I guess state endowments to state universities would fall under welfare as well. Stop it with the hipocrisy.

Smart suggestion, actually. Of course they know they won't beat Bama, but being able to play in that stadium against that legendary coach and get a big payout for their efforts is certainly worthwhile. It makes a huge impact in those small school budgets.

Ruffin saw an opportunity to pile on and get some pub for himself and he took it. He knows Saban can't say a damn thing without all the woke fricks yelling the "R" word. fricking nauseatingly predictable.

I like that Saban's invincibility cloak has been removed - Jimbo opened the door to take shots at the Czar.
