Any truth to the rumor that the goal of the surgery was to graft 3” of a femur from a cadaver onto Nick’s femurs so that he’d be 3” taller? I read that somewhere.

This is another passive way for Saban to express his displeasure with some of the players leaving early...get the surgery before the draft so you don't have to fake support for the early leavers on draft day...
