If Utx doesn't do REALLY well the first two seasons, they never will. Utx was gifted one of the easiest sec schedules that I can ever remember seeing. They have that schedule for both 24 and 25. If they can't get it done those seasons then they will be in for some real rough times when they actually have to play a real sec schedule.

Most coaches can’t. That’s why the elite coaches are so special. Things have continually improved under Sark; therefore, perhaps we have a special one or maybe we don’t. Either way, I like the trajectory we are on.

I am about as far from being a Texas fan as one can get (not sooner or ATM far but close) and I think Texas is in good shape currently. Admittedly I am pulling for Sark to flame out in glorious fashion but thats because I ain't a Texas fan and everyone loves a train wreck if it ain't your train. Removing that from the equation there is little doubt that Texas is trending upward and significantly so. I think they experience some difficulty navigating a SEC schedule week in and week out but I think if Bear Bryant, Nick Saban and 3 other of the top 5 CFB coaches of all time were rolled into one that would still be the case. Difficulty navigating a schedule is not to say missing the playoffs and winning it all, just it won't be what Texas is accustomed to. Its going to be an interesting season....I for one can't wait!

Yep. I’m looking forward to life in the SEC. I haven’t been this excited about TX football in a long time. As you said, it’s going to be an interesting season.
