Full disclosure, Texas fans LOVE horns down. For us it's free pub, and we cant get enough (it's particularly enjoyable when Texas isnt even playing or involved at all... which happens A LOT... and we eat it up.)

In fact, the only places you see outcry/discussion about "horns down" is among non-Texas communities. Which of course we also enjoy and eat up. It's a never ending source of amusement and validation.

You can say this until you’re blue in the face but they’ll never understand and keep doing dumb shite like making mascots devoted entirely toward Texas, thus spending time and effort to take attention away from themselves

It's almost as if Texas cares nothing about it and rival fanbases are the ones worked up over it (to the point they'd rather make a mascot solely about a school they're jealous of rather than their own)

I've never seen so many members of a fanbase oblivious to people pointing and laughing at them while confusing it as "being triggered". Y'all realize you're going out of your way to give Texas more press while actively making an effort to take attention away from yourselves, right?
