I guess the setup must be more conducive to scoring today?

Or better weather?

These scores are way lower than the first two rounds.

Bama’s No. 1 golfer, Cannon Claycomb (killer name) and last player to finish for the team, just choked, bogeying his last hole to drop the team one shot out of a tie for 5th. Top five teams advance to championship finals. I’m not sure how the tiebreaker works, so they may not have made it anyway. That’s gotta suck. He may go as one of the the six individuals not on a qualifiying team but not sure

They didn’t make it. They were one shot off. Top five teams advance.

Top individual from each regional not on a qualifying team advances..

for that regional I think Nick Mathews from NC State will advance

Thanks, I wasn’t sure how they earned their spot.

Oklahoma has vaulted up to 2nd and is just two shots off the lead. And 12 shots clear of the cut line.

Did someone forget to make the trip for Arkansas? They’re even losing to Arkansas State after entering as a 2 seed.

Wow... AU started the day at -1, 6 shots off the lead. They shot -20 TODAY and won by 8 strokes.

LSU is holding on to 5th at the moment with Houston 1 shot behind with just a couple of holes to play.

Ole Miss is battling. Now 2 shots clear of the 6th place team. Still most of the back 9 left to play.

If Bama had tied for the last spot there would be a playoff for it.

I played in the program before Haack came along. We’re far better off with him. I certainly wouldn’t force him out.

And I agree about Hybl; I think he should be the guy when Haack hangs it up.

Auburn went nuts and shot -20 as a team today after shooting -1 over the first two rounds

Arkansas Pine Bluff was nearly 50 shots off of the next closest team in the BR Regional, with a +112.

Seemed like the worst team in each regional was around +40 or so, the there was that score.

Ole Miss and Stanford are tied for 5th place at -9 with one hole to play and only 1 shot behind SMU.

was generally wondering how a team that bad even made a regional. Does college golf have auto-bids for winning conference tournaments like other sports? +112 over 3 days is not even competitive in high school golf.
