Team's national ranking followed by conference record (both are highly considered factors in determining which teams play host, etc.).

#5 -- Texas ......overall record = 32-20 (#1 in Big 12)
#6 -- Tennessee (19-8)

#11 -- Alabama (12-15)
#16 -- Mississippi State (15-12)
#17 -- Oklahoma.......overall record 32-17 (#3 in Big 12)
#19 -- South Carolina (13-14)
#24 -- Ole Miss (11-16)
#28 -- Vanderbilt (12-15)

#29 -- Florida (11-16)

Hell we’re only 2 years removed from a CWS appearance and 1 year removed from hosting.

This year was one of those that just fell apart from the get go and we never got our feet back underneath us. I trust Butch enough to know this is the exception and not the norm so while it sucks I know he’ll make the necessary adjustments going forward.
