2010 South Carolina lost to OU in game 1. OU had them on the ropes later in the elimination game and Jackie Bradley jr hit a walk off 2 run bomb if memory serves. I’ve always felt like it got away from OU but credit to SCAR for rallying and winning it all. Doesn’t happen often after losing game 1 obviously.

2002 South Carolina
Lost their first game 11-0 and looked completely outclassed. Then rattled 4 in a row, including beating Clemson twice in 2 days to advance to the final, both of which were blowouts (that had to feel good).

The Ray Tanner teams in the early 2000s were incredibly impressive.

Fair.

Imma leave it up, though, just because I like the GIF. I'm used to looking foolish, so there's not much downside.

Can he go back to coaching instead of hiring them?

That's a stat worth smoking/drinking to, whilst contemplating.
Good stuff.

Jk. That’s a majorly significant stat. We’re the type of team that ends up being the outlier one way or another.

He should’ve never quit coaching. He could’ve ended up being talked about with Bertman, Dedeaux, Garrido etc. Obviously still an amazing coach and USC legend but he could’ve been a national legend.

luckily just 8 years later we got to beat clemson twice again to make a finals. Omaha has been pretty fun for the Gamecocks. so long ago though.

You have a 100% chance of not reaching the championship if you don't play in Game 1

Sorry Vols but there's a big difference between throwing the mustard and cutting the mustard.

We'll send postcards from Omaha!
