Food should be nowhere near a list of what you think makes missouri the best state. Clearly anything food related that makes a state great should be in Louisiana. There is no food derived from missouri that is better than any cajun food from Louisiana.
Also, sweet tea is one of the most southern things there is.. If you're bragging about not having sweet tea, then you're definitely not in a southern state. ?
Anyone who brags about dumping a pound of sugar in a tea pitcher (or not doing so) is automatically disqualified. In Texas tea is usually available both ways so not everyone is forced to get the beetus.

Any state that is land locked should not qualify for "best southern state" bragging rights. Only states that have a coast line should qualify for this.

Completely inaccurate. St. Louis City is a relatively small portion of the metro area. It has a ghetto like every other city and unfortunately it has produced Cori Bush and our illustrious mayor. However, the vast majority of the metro area is a well to do suburb.

Depending on which ranking you go by, the well to do suburbs rank as the third “most dangerous” city in the United States. Only Detroit, Michigan, and Baltimore, Maryland, were deemed more dangerous than St. Louis in the rankings.

Missouri is a complicated state. St. Louis looks East, KC looks West, Columbia is stuck in the middle, rural northern Missouri looks lost, Springfield and Branson look South.
