I tried to read an article in Men's Health this morning about how Guy Fieri has discovered HIIT, cold plunges and something else healthy and he's lost some weight......so anyway, he seems kinda like a Pickles in Dr. Pepper kinda guy. I mean...he is the mayor of Flavortown.

Just be glad you are young. Before they had Gatorade we used to drink pickle juice during 2 a days and 3 a days to keep salts in out system. It was not even cold and possibly the real reason for all the puking on the field.

I've seen some long-distance runners use it today.
But back then they gave us salt tablets (aka salt pills).
And during breaks one of the coaches held the water hose in his hand so you wouldn't "drink too much."
