We had a place booked in seagrove until the owner called last night and said she needed to cancel because we are from Louisiana. She said that the owner occupied portion of the development is vigilant and is going out of their way to harass people and get the sheriff involved. Not worth my time or effort to deal with the potential bs. Sucks not to go. Booked a place in bay st Louis a few minutes ago. I know it isn't remotely close to the same beach. I just need to go on a vacation somewhere. Anywhere. At the very least, my steaks and drinks will taste the same regardless of location.

How is the aclu not involved in this? The entire situation seems unconstitutional to me. I guess travel related discrimination doesn't fit their agenda.

What’s the likelihood that DeSantis will continue this policy through June and into July? We have our annual family beach trip planned for the first week of July. It’s not an issue for my wife and I since we are Texas residents, but it could potentially ruin things for my folks and my sister and her family, all of whom live in Louisiana. Should we start looking at alternative locations now, or wait a bit and see how things shake out?

The next time Florida plays at LSU the Governor needs to screen Florida plates at the border.
