Yep. Even trailing by 10 pts at the half, I felt we had a chance as long as Silva, Kotsar, and Gravett stepped up in the 2nd half. They combined were 0-7 in the 1st half, and scored 5 pts all at the FT line. They had been the leaders in our SEC run up to tonight.

Then Silva gets 2 quick fouls to add to his 2 in the 1st half, Kotsar still doesn't do much, and Gravett had done nothing much yet. Bryant goes 0 for 4 at the FT line, and I started thinking that it wasn't meant to be.

As soon as that happens, Gravett and Haase pick the team up and carry it to victory. Gravett scored all 17 of his points after halftime, and Haase scored most of his 9 pts, and hit some clutch FTs.

We always seem to struggle in Vanderbilt's gym, both men's and women's teams. I'm happy to get out of there with the win, and now we have 2 big conference road wins....

seems as though they're finding a moxie about themselves we saw a couple seasons ago.

ugly game
Tony Greene should have been 'retired' from ever officiating another college basketball game 5 years ago. game had no flow through the first 30 minutes - and the review 12 seconds into the 2H regarding Silva was a complete farce.

USC was able to get out in open court with its defense for some transition baskets in spite of the zebras.

Bryant's baseline dunk on the opposite side of the rim is one of the best in the league this so far this season.
