Well Boomers have been the ones who paid the most in to social security They paid the SS for the Greatest Generation, and the Silent Generation.
Boomers currently pay over 50% of all federal income taxes and are only 20% of the population.
Boomers weren't the ones who voted in SS. That was the so-called "Greatest Generation" and it was the "Silent Generation" that expanded it.
People like Pelosi and Biden (Both Silent Generation)
How can people not know that we didn't even have a boomer President until Bill Clinton in 1992, then W, and then Obama. Biden is Silent Gen and Trump is a Boomer.
Biden is the 6th youngest Senator ever to take office in January 1973 at 30 years and 1 month( Silent Generation)
Boomers didn't even become the majority of Congress until the 1990s

Most Boomers would take a lump sum check from the government thieves. Give Boomers a check to cover their payroll contributions and their employers contributions to SS and Medicare and call it done.
Over a +40 year span of paying SS and Medicare taxes along with a 5% annual growth on those contributions......most Boomers would gladly take the lump sum check.
