re: Which presidents were the best public speakers?

Hard to tell how good John Adams really was or Lincoln. Certainly they made brilliant speeches that they wrote. John Quincy Adams was known as Old Man Eloquent.

With a nod to those, I would say Reagan, FDR, TR, Clinton and Trump from video and what I’ve heard.

I also give a nod to Calvin Coolidge as sometimes silence is golden.
