No one could have predicted that the top 2 teams from last season would be in this position going into the last week of the season

South Carolina is projected as a 2 seed in the Virginia regional. A lot of SEC teams at the top (Kentucky, Tenn, A&M, Georgia) which is good to see.

I would think 10 SEC teams get in with how good the league has been out of conference and the RPIs. Assuming 10 teams get to at least 13 wins.

We could be having a lot of 12 win teams:

Florida (if loses 2 of 3)
LSU (If wins 2 of 3)
Ole Miss (if loses 2 of 3)
Vandy (if swept)
Bama (if swept by Auburn [unlikely])

Would be interesting to see how many SEC teams make it if something like this happens.

Not really, unless one of the lower seeded teams in the SEC Tournament makes a run and wins the whole thing.

Most of the field and seeding for the NCAA tournament is already decided after this weekend wraps up.

Tip of the hat to Alabama. I thought they were dead in the water not that long ago but they've played hard to get a shot at the Big Dance.

This looks pretty good. I really hope we put the committee in a spot where they have to award the SEC 5 top 8 seeds.

On3 must predict Arkansas to win this weekend. Kentucky as the overall number one is very interesting.

Obviously dependent on the Vandy series but my guess is we get the nod for having 18 Q1 wins. Pretty sure that’s the most in the country,

If you win the SEC and lead in RPI, I think it's obvious. UK deserves it.
