Yeah .... depends on time of the year.

Summertime it would run continously through the day, through the night and then shut down once the house is cooled early to mid morning. Don't open the fridges.

Winter time no need to run it more than a couple of hours a day in the South. Enough to keep the freezers frozen and for showers and well water refills.

There's really no need to run any gennie constantly this time of year.

Also, highly recommend installing Easy Starts on HVACs.
