It's time to restore all forfeited or vacated games.

They happened, we just had a ruling that Reggie Bush can get his trophy back because pay for play should've been legal. So I guess that means all previous cases are null and void.
I will start with Mississippi State it has been said that we have a losing record all time. This is actually false. It is 603-579-37 excluding the NCAA Forfeits from a discounted textbook for a player(yes that's the documented actual reason).
I'm sure many SEC Teams would like to see this. From what I understand Alabama would be around the 1000 win mark if we used on the field results.

the NCAA didn't give him his Heisman trophy back. The Heisman Trophy Trust did. There wasn't a hearing with a "ruling." It was just a body of people making a decision to do something.

If someone else had a Heisman stripped due to impermissible benefits, sure

Honestly I don’t really consider any of LSU’s losses to be forfeited. When the big 10 and sec disband from the ncaa it won’t matter anyway.

Wrong. Close, but wrong.

Retroactively correcting illegal things done in the past because they are now legal is literally the dumbest shite I’ve ever heard of

We did? A "ruling?"
The Heisman Trust just decided to do it.

From what I understand, Alabama would likely inflate their revised win mark to over 2,000 and claim another 50 national titles as a result.

tell the entire story. After the NCAA ruled on the eligibility of the player, State got a ruling from a Mississippi Court that barred that NCAA decision and it backfired.
But, I have no issue with forfeited games being re-instated.

Since we're righting past wrongs, I'd like to submit that the national champion should have always been awarded after bowl games and thus Arkansas should be the 1965 AP recipient.

Somehow, aggy will claim another championship out of this and put it on their stadium wall.

With the current climate of CFB being the wild-west, it seems stupid to hold forfeits and vacated wins for stuff that is pretty commonplace now. let the on-field results speak for themselves. it makes a much cleaner record book. "oh your team won, but because of things that weren't legal then but are now encouraged, that win is a loss."
