I went to a Premier League match in London. Those people do not mess around. Very few women. Very few children. It’s basically pissed off dudes everywhere. They will not even let you take alcohol to your seat to try to prevent fights.

Mexico fans at Estadio Azteca is the only fanbase I would be nervous to be around.

Some drunk brits watching soccer are supposed to be intimidating?

Did they get apoplectic about playing matches at noon BST like Georgia fans do at noon EST?

I’m sorry, I didn’t know we were dealing with Mr. Badass here.

I think they're all just really pissed off that they have to watch soccer. I'd fight random people too if I were forced to sit through that week after week.

Yes, they do. It’s worse for fans in the USA as that’s 4-7 am

Pretty much this. If you go to a pub in the UK and notice it is fairly packed and there are no women or children there, that’s your cue that a footy match is about to come on TV and you’ll be way out of your element.

Did you ever hear of the Hooligans? English fans have been banned from attending international matches in most of Europe because they show up, beat up the locals and set everything on fire.

This. Can you imagine watching an entire football game and the score is nil - nil? Or no one knowing exactly how much extra time there is at the end because the clock continues to run while they deal with fake injuries? I'd be drunk and mad too.

Did you ever see the old Gary Oldman movie, The Firm? Based on a true story revolving around the activities of the football firm of West Ham United supporters during the 1970s and 1980s, and their clashes with rival firms. Great movie, Oldman was out of his mind.

yeah, fake injuries don't happen in American football.

they're really missing out on our stream of Jardiance commercials with a bit of action sprinkled in here and there.

Brits are so gay. And they have the nerve to look down upon us. I had the misfortune of having to work with a few before overseas and i just want to say i wouldn't be too sad if London gets completely taken over by hostile immigrants.

For the life of me, i don't know how anyone can enjoy watching soccer or even care about it.
