Early games are perceived by fans as they are not marquee, always been the sentiment.

However, the data shows that more viewers are tuning in earlier in the day, thus the change.

I prefer a later in the day marquee match up personally.

Perceived by SEC fans as not as important. The rest of the country knows better. They've been watching Michigan vs Ohio State or Texas vs Oklahoma for too long to buy it. If you play the big boys, they will come. Just more SEC bias.

Michigan and Ohio State is always at that time. I don’t even remember the last time it wasn’t.

And I doubt people felt those PAC 12 games that went past midnight on your side of this great nation were marquee.
