LSU fans this is really something special for your HC, BK. I agree with Pete Cordelli.

Lol. Again, BK is setting a precedent with not over paying for an ok portal transfer player and having his team wonder why they aren't getting the same. BK values high school recruiting to build his program and his recruiting is JUST fine. See LSU's '25 recruiting class. Overall #1s at 3 positions. BK will only pay if MUST needed. This is LSU, we don't have to spend $1.5mil on a decent TCU DL lol

Pathetic losers alike huh

OP Still Salty from LSU beating their football team and stealing their coaches. BK is trying to build his team like UGA, OH ST etc who only use the portal for a few spots and HS players top priority.

Pete Cordelli

Pete Cordell hasn’t been in major college athletics in 25 years. He worked for the ole miss radio network for years starting iirc in the late 90s, then coached as an assistant at a high school in Memphis, then Rhodes College in Memphis (DIII). That coaching gig was almost 10 years ago now. It seems most of his opinions are based on how he and Lou Holtz recruited at Notre Dame almost 30 years ago. A lot has changed since then

I actually know the guy, or did back when he was coaching high school in Memphis. He’s kind of a dick and arrogant for no reason

I would say that Cordelli really values his own opinion.

He still mad that Brian left ND for LSU.

I agree with Cordelli that there's been star bumping at Bama. Bama post-Sark/Kirby/Pruitt recruiting was a shell of itself.

I agree that the academic standards at ND preventing coaches from winning national championships is a lie. BK sent to many guys to the NFL while at ND not to have won bigger.

His criticized BK for his 2012 Natty appearance. WGAF it was 12 years ago.

Cordelli remains mystified by Notre Dame's failure to win a national championship since 1988. This is a bitter disappointment to Cordelli, who adds that Notre Dame should be in the expanded CFP every year and the national championship game “every four to five years.”

This is all you need to see about this guy to realize how far removed from reality he is.
