How would your family and friends react if you began interracial dating?

No, I have never been in an interracial relationship and don't plan on getting into one, but I see it all the time and just wondered how receptive those close to you felt.
I have a friend that is in an interracial marriage and it doesn't both me, and I think my family would be fine with it eventually. I think they would be shocked at first, simply because I've never done that, but I feel they would be accepting of the relationship. My friend, who is white and has two beautiful children, says they hear negative comments quite often, but have learned to ignore them.
So how would your family and friends react?

ETA: Apparently there's at least 1 person in this thread with a problem with it.
I'd be happy to meet with them in person and aggressively address their concerns...

My wife is black. My family has no issues with it. I'd tell them to go frick themselves if they did.

They would be fine with it. My dad would maybe think it’s a little weird but he wouldn’t be bothered. I probably would only marry a Latina though interracial wise. Which in that case it’s not really considered a big deal down here.

I’m too old and too married for this to be an issue with me, but I still have unmarried kids. I don’t care who they love. I will love whoever they love. shite makes no difference at all.

They would probably be fine with an Asian, would make a few snide remarks about a Latina, and would probably lose their shite over a black woman.
