A loss to any team hurts.

I fail to see why a loss to Bama would hurt more than a loss to any other team on UGA's schedule. They aren't a rival. With the new 12 team playoff every team can afford a couple of losses now instead of 1-loss potentially ending playoff hopes (see UGA last season).

I mean, nobody who is a fan of UGA would be happy with any loss, but I'm not sure why you think Bama is different than anyone else on UGA's schedule.

Bama is just another talented opponent on the schedule. They don't mean any more or less than that.
