The best QB is Texas A&M football history.

wat?

He was a 4 year starter in a pass happy era under two pass heavy coaches so he compiled the most stats in just about every category. Nobody actually thinks he's the best A&M QB.

I think most who saw them all play would have guys like Johnny Manziel, Kevin Murray, Bucky Richardson, Ryan Tannehill, Jerrod Johnson (when healthy), Stephan McGee, and Reggie McNeal ahead of him. The really old fans would likely ad Edd Hargett and Gary Kubiak to that list as well.

Bucky Richardson? I know we are supposed to love the guy but he was forward pass challenged. He never had a full season where he threw more TDs than Interceptions.

He played in 44 games to Mond's 46 games. The comparison

Passing

Mond - 9,661 yards, 71 TDs, 27 pics

Richardson - 3,039 yards passing, 14 TDs, 23 Picks

Rushing

Mond - 1,608 career rushing yards, 22 TDs

Richardson - 2,095 career rushing yards, 30 TDs

A&M record during tenure

Mond - 34 Wins, 16 Losses, Highest AP finish was 5th in 2020

Richardson - 35 Wins 14 losses. Highest AP finish was 10th in 1991
