Hardware is better than Pixel for starters. Use quick charge. Pixel stuck at 30w and takes 1 1/2 to 2 hours to fully charge. Their modems are much better as well.
Samsung is swinging at the market as well. However, These are all really big companies and can compete with Samsung all day long. There also aren't carriers acting as gatekeepers.
