i remember several coaches doing it. one of them won a national championship that year.

If winning the game, at minimum, doesn’t help your RPI, why would you play the game?

To me it’s a flaw in the system. Don’t hate the player hate the game.

I thought this post was going to be about the fact that Arkansas dropped from 2 to 3 in the RPI (and idle KY moved up from 3 to 2) by beating Missouri State last night. There is definitely a flaw in the RPI math.
