Wimp didn’t have to build a program from scratch following CM Newton like Bruce did following Tony Barbee salting the earth. Bruce gets a pass for his for first seasons because he had literally build the program from scratch. Wimp took over a winning program.

Yeah, Alabama hadn't missed the tournament 15 straight years like Auburn, also Bruce had the Under armor contract in basketball to deal with. Nate inherited a decent situation, Bruce inherited arguably a bottom two program in the SEC. Taking that to a Final 4 was beyond what I thought was possible. The last two seasons have been frustrating, but let's not get crazy. If being a early tournament exit, but still SEC championship winner is the worst Bruce has to offer then I'll take it. 15 straight years of ineptitude
