I was in Austin a couple months ago, spent some time on the campus for the first time. It's quite a pretty campus but way more urban than I was expecting. I did not realize how close to the downtown area it is - definitely not a traditional college town at all. And the student body looked like a little United Nations. Reminded me more of a private school in the northeast than a big public school in the South.

Also, Sixth Street makes Bourbon Street look clean.

Downtown Austin is a hole these days. I would genuinely worry for the safety of anybody on the fringes of the campus
