Nick Saban 5 Kirby Smart 1.

That tells you all you need to know

In Saban's last 3 seasons, Georgia won two national championships. Alabama won ZERO national championships.
But Alabama has Deboer now. Actually Deboer has a lot in common with Saban. Neither one can beat Michigan in the CFP

It's not Coach Saban's fault the playoff committee took Georgia even after BAMA beat you in the SECCG in 2021. They didn't last season.

Head-to-head is "THE
way you measure a team and head coach.

Coach Saban 5 - Kirby 1

Alabama beat Michigan in the playoffs in 2020 by a score of 35-16.

Losing out on UGA's one and only chance for three in a row to Bama still sings.

Yes, Alabama has not won three in a row, but at least Bama has had 4 chances to do it (which means Alabama has won 8 NC )
