The hilarious thing about all of this is Texas "peaked" at the worst possible time. Your inaugural season in the SEC is going to be very different than A&M's. No one expected anything out of A&M in 2012.
You've basically been smelling your own farts for the last 10 years in the Big 12, had a little success last year, and now your fans (and others) are saying Texas is back and expecting you to make another trip to the playoff. Anything short of that is going to be regarded as a disappointment.

Lol "Texas peaked at the wrong time" is such an aggyism.
If only we'd gone 7-6 last year, like TAMU did in 2011. Then you'd be saying Texas is primed for a breakout year in the SEC, right? Because we'd sneak up on everyone?
