Been there several times, it was way better a decade plus ago. I'd echo the recommendation to go further South; Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala. CR is getting too much pressure it appears already in some areas. We were in Los Suenos last month and the fishing was off from the last few years according to our captains.
I also saw a post by Pelagic this morning they were canceling the 2024 Triple Crown of Fishing Tournament in Cabo, seems the Mexican Navy came in and took over the US owned Marina last week. Guess someone didn't get their paper bag full of cash this month, such is life in the part of the world. Probably hundreds of millions of dollars of US owned Sportfishers moored in that marina currently.
