re: OT: Lanier Islands Resort

Definitely recommend. Tons of things to do. Kids will have a blast at the water park. Food is actually good around the resort and the few places mentioned within 10 min drive. The pool is quaint and usually have a DJ in the afternoons with poolside bar available. Great shady walking trails too. Also, good golfing if you get to sneak away from 5 hours
Lot of people on golf carts, a majority who shouldn’t be to be honest.
