I agree, it was over but dude still wanted to compete until the clock hit 0s. That’s heart, not a lack of class

When the offense passes up an open layup to run the clock down, read the room and let up.

It’s the equivalent of firing off the ball on a mercy knee.

Sportsmanship goes both ways. Bama was done, there is no chance, let UConn dribble it out. That doesn't diminish Sears or Bama and their journey, but it's ridiculous to not respect the other team that just beat your arse by fouling down double digits with less than a second on the clock.
