I have never been a boo bird, that became popular later in life and I was too old to change by then. I don't see booing the other team but I get a bit hostile when folks boo the homie team.

Booing the home team is usually counterproductive, but I have done it before in a few instances but never booed a player. Booing is usually a reaction to a specific event in time.
To constantly be negative about a team that you say you are a fan of is different and is a cancer to that team. If you dislike the team, school, coaches that much maybe you should find another team to be a fan of.
