The Mississippi schools have gotten up off the deck and turned things around since the first week or two of the season. Nice job!!!

They haven't been overly impressive, which is why I'm surprised they swept Barn. With that said, baseball is a funny thing. Just ask WAOM. Those fricks limped into the post season a couple of years ago, got hot as a firecracker and won the whole thing.

I get what you are saying and it will be tough. However, OU has the hardest SOS of all teams so far. Baseball is about ebbs and flows during the season and then getting hot in playoffs with full healthy pitching staff.
Skip is good with pitchers and doesn’t overuse them early and mid season, which will cost some games but is best long term.
I wasn't expecting us to go from unranked to that high so fast. But so far the pitchers he brought in are doing well.

Winning the series over Tennessee has me cautiously optimistic in how far we can go this year. We haven't made the World Series since 1999; got to the Super Regional last year but that ended a drought of over 10 years. I've gotten to the point of "cautious optimism" is where I default to for Alabama baseball.
