Bama won Natty when I was: 1,4,5,13,18,19,32,49,51,52,55,57 and 60. Don't really remember the first one. Vague memories of the second and third. Remember the rest of them fondly.

No less "mythical" than anyone else's. And they beat the team that won the AP and UPI side of it. Nothing "mythical" about beating the team some say is better on the field.

Knowing I’ve seen 3 LSU football championships and I’m only in my early 30s, so chances are high I’ll see another.
What was your contribution to these championships?

A) Player
B) Coach
C) Support staff
D) First in line at Walmart for a new t-shirt

No, they did not.

They won some and CLAIMED some championships at those ages.

Let me repeat for the hard-of-hearing, or hard-headed, "Nothing "mythical" about beating Oklahoma on the field.

I was 16 in 1980 when UGA won. Close but no cigar in 2002, 2007, 2012, 2017. The 1980 jokes made us a fan base that privately believed we were cursed.

Then 2021 and 2022 happened. The 2021 title is always going to be special because the 41 drought was over and UGA nation could finally breathe again.

I've been to two of Georgias NCs . 1980 and 2022. Missed 2021 due to knee surgery.

Yes, they did.

All AP, Coaches poll, BCS or CFP. Sorry if I hurt your feelings but your opinion of what counts as a legitimate Natty means nothing.

So a bowl game from the 1964 season doesn't matter but a bowl game from the 1950 season matters.

Check with college football history, it shouldn't take, even you, long to appreciate they both fit the title of "mythical" Football Champion.

Google: National Championship College Football Teams.

I feel bad that an LSU natty as a fan is your greatest personal achievement.

"Bama was already voted #1 in 1964 so our bowl was an exhibition."
"OU was already voted #1 in 1950 but their bowl mattered."

I've been alive for 9, old enough to remember 7.

My grandfather, who passed away in 2021, had witnessed every poll era title, plus the 1930, 1934, and 1945 teams. So 13 poll titles.

Historic Rose Bowls he was alive for:

Jan. 1, 1946: Alabama 34, USC 14

Jan. 1, 1935: Alabama 29, Stanford 13

Jan. 1, 1931: Alabama 24, Washington State 0

What you mean is that ALABAMA was the UPI and AP NC in the year of our Lord in 1964. Arkansas got a few of the leftovers of the poll dudes and to this day makes the claim that 1964 is still their one and only "mythical" NC in college football.

I couldn't care less. Your turn.

Just like 1950 and OU.

You didn't hurt my feelings. I hurt your's.

I pointed out, and truthfully so, that about half of Bammer's championships are pure, made-up bullshite.
