Well that's an understatement. The track was green for only 23 minutes. Pretty crappy start to the week. These guys must have been really anxious to get some good laps in today.
Dixon and Sato at the top of the timesheets early in the week fits the pattern of recent years. Otherwise, can't really read much into it when they were only able to complete a few laps on the day.
I guess there are going to be a lot of eyes on Larson. I have no Idea if he's universally loved in NASCAR or there are a lot of fans who don't want to see him succeed.
No one is talking about him, but Sato has won 2 of the last 7 Indy 500s, and last year held his own on a really strong Ganassi team, finishing P7. All four Ganassi drivers finished in the top 7. The last few years he has gotten up to speed very quickly in the first week of practice. I think he's going to be a real asset to RLL. Sato, Lundgaard and Graham should make a strong team. Of course last year RLL was absolutely horrible, so I guess that's a bold prediction.
