We had a top 25 opponent, and also a rival, with the chance to host and be a national seed yet the stands were half empty all 3 games. When the fans leave you and the money power brokers have had enough Kingston will be let go. We have reached that point.

The biggest thing that concerns me is I don't trust Tanner to make a good hire

He did get Lamont.

Early on his hires and really worse than that, his contracts sucked. As of late he has been a pretty decent AD. He has kept Dawn here and happy, hired Lamont, and hired a pretty decent track and field coach. Everyone wants to see football win, but Shane is doing pretty decent considering the landscape of CFB, and UGA/Clemson success. If he can get back to 7 or 8 wins this season we will be in good shape going forward

** and yes my faith in the squad took a major hit this past weekend. I still think an Ole Miss type run can be made, but those 3 games were as tough to watch as any ive ever seen at Carolina. Maybe we can bounce back this weekend.

Fans not showing up is not why we lost. I want to preface that before I dive into this one.

I think it is still frustrating to see the fanbase quit on this team prior to this weekend. All the above that you stated should merit fans in the stands. Messina, Petry, Jones, etc all deserved that. If fans wanted Kingston gone, I completely understand, but when a team is coming off a supers, and then was in line to potentially be a national seed with 2/3, our fans shouldn't be not showing up. Obviously they have quit on the team, so I agree you have to look to a new coach, but we shouldn't have quit prior to the series
