Making the kid wear "247 Transfer Portal" twitter handle on the practice jersey is fricked up. That's purely ostracizing and embarrassing the kid to his peers so that he will leave.

I did not like the way tuberville handled that one guy and I dont like the way Deion handles making players leave. If its a business dont choose bushleague methods of telling the kid to hit the road. Karma is just as consistent as I am as well.

The NFL will cut without notice, and lock you out of the facility. I'm not saying Deion is right, as much as I prefer to know where I stand with someone at all times. I had bosses who kept it real with me and never lied or pretended to care, so when I got laid off or fired it didn't surprise me. I was already looking for another job anyway. I had bosses (in my youth) who pretended to be my buddy, and even assured me that I would get a raise or promotion that never came. As a grown man I've learned that the truth, no matter how harsh is better. Deion is teaching them a tough lesson they'll need for the rest of their lives. Produce or get out.

Hugh Freeze has done the same thing, but with a smile and kind words since he got to Auburn. Yes, he's above the theatrics that Deion seems to enjoy, but successful coaches have to be cut throat to a certain degree. Peyton Thorne mentioned guys not buying in, now magically those guys are gone correct? Lol The Same thing is currently happening here and I'm happy about that.

Agree big time. Got no problem with coaches cutting players. Part of the job, but be a man about it. Just cut the kid, don’t shame them to the point that the team turns on them and that’s what forces them to transfer.

It's a business, like you said. It being a business it calls for some professionalism. It's not WHAT Dieon did, but HOW he did it. I like Dieon, I wanted Dieon, I'm glad we didn't get Dieon now

Yeah, when I watch Hard Knocks, they don't pull junk like that. They call them in to the GM/Coach's office and just tell them "Hey man, we are gonna have to cut you loose. We wish you well and let us know if we can do anything for you." It's straight to the point and professional.
